Dubai creative cluster Authority:

DCCA, a regulatory and authority came in existence under the supervision of Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Ahmad Bin Byat as Director General, was formerly known as the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority (DTMFZA), provides a standard set of rules and regulation to establish business in Dubai free zone.

Dubai creative cluster Authority issues three types of licenses:

  • A Free Zone Company (FZ LLC)
  • A Branch of a UAE or foreign Parent Company
  • Freelance Permit

A Free Zone Company (FZ LLC):

An FZ LLC is a distinct legal limited entity, same a liability company on mainland that requires to be shared by two shareholders in terms of minimum capital, physical burden and business profit. Shareholders can be corporate entities as well as two persons or both.

A Branch of a UAE or foreign Parent Company:

A child body or sub office that is legally dependent on its parent company whether it is based anywhere in the world. In order to be licensed or get processed, they have to fulfill all the basic functionalities as their root company does but they don’t need to show minimum capital requirements for branches of a worldwide company.

Freelance Permit:

The regulatory body only permit this type of license in free zones. This gives the individuals same right as solopreneur, to carryout professional services and under their name.

Secondly, you need to fill the application form, designed by government of Dubai to apply for business type. Once the authorities are known to the type of business or industry, you belong or step-in, then registration process takes place. After this, you need to submit your legal and supportive documents to abstain your process your rejection.

  • CV’s of both parties
  • Certificate of In-corporation
  • Trade License, if any
  • Character Certificate
  • Banking Reference (Shareholders)
  • Form of Registry Identification Code (RIC)
  • Power of Attorney
  • Letter of no objection

You have to pay all applicable fees mentioned according to the agreement.

Sign Lease Agreement and Personal Sponsorship Agreement

Collect your license and copy of registered documents.
